EXPLORE A STITCH A MONTH in 2023
Returning to our education roots and encouraging individuals to pursue knowledge in the needle arts, Sno-King has decided to explore a different family of embroidery stitches each month from February through May. For June we will plan a small project to apply our new found (or newly polished) skills and create items that can go towards Gift Gang. We are using Jacqueline Enthoven’s book, The stitches of creative embroidery as the basis for our study.
In February we are exploring Running Stitches and its variations moving on to Button Hole stitches, which includes the Blanket Stitch. As we complete our study we will select our next stitch to explore. Sno-King meets on the 2nd Monday of each month from 10 am – 2 pm in the PNNAG office.
