PNNAG Recording Secretary Responsibilities
1. Attend monthly board meetings and take minutes (1 to 1 ½ hours).
2. Transcribe board meeting minutes (1 to 2 hoursa).
3. Send board meeting minutes to the President, Vice-president, and Newsletter Editor in a timely mannerb (5 minutes).
4. Revise board meeting minutes and resend if needed (5 minutes).
5. Ensure board meeting minutes are approved as written or as revised at the subsequent board meeting (1 minute).
6. Attend general meetings in January, May, and September and take minutes (1 to 4 hoursc).
7. Transcribe general meeting minutes (1 to 2 hoursa).
8. Send general meeting minutes to the President, Vice-president, and Newsletter Editor in a timely manner (5 minutesd).
9. Revise general meeting minutes and resend if needed (5 minutes).
10. Ensure general meeting minutes are approved as written or as revised at the subsequent general meeting (1 minute).
aIf one can take minutes electronically during the meeting, this step may not be necessary, or it may require less than 1 to 2 hours.
bBy the 12th day of the month, if possible, to meet the newsletter publication deadline.
