Saturday, June 24th from 1:00 - 4:00 PM
Wallingford Community Senior Center at Good Shepherd Center (down the hall from PNNAG Office)

4649 Sunnyside Ave N #140, Seattle, WA 98103

For those of you who have not been to the tea, here's the scoop.  It, along with our holiday sale, are the big fundraisers.  Tickets are suggested at $25 and for this you get a 4 course tea...scones with jam, Devonshire cream and lemon curd, sandwiches with 4 fillings, a fruit bowl and, of course, the dessert with cookies and Nanaimo bars.  PLUS the hat show.  What fun when Lynn Gough did Downton Abbey, and this year Lynn will be back again with a hat show.

How can YOU help make the tea a success?  Volunteer to set a table.  (You do not need to have your own guests.)  We have a list of what you need to set your table.  No worries if you don't have everything on the list.  We can help!  Invite friends and family.  Offer to help in the kitchen or prepare food or bake cookies.  Donate a basket for the raffle, perhaps as as a joint effort of your study group or satellite.  In the past we had wonderful raffle items which raised more money for the guild than the tea itself.
So how can YOU help?
  • BUY a ticket.  Many members bring mothers, sister, grandkids and friends.
  • SET a table, for 4.   It's fun to see the artistry when they are all ready for guests.  If you set a table, you do not need to supply the guests--we seat others with you.
  • RAFFLE baskets are a highlight.  Many creative items are put together by members for the the raffle table.
  • HELP The tea is a many person effort whether setting up, preparing foods, helping in the kitchen filling plates, washing dishes and, yes, cleaning up when it is all over.
  • Martha M (miss_marty14@hotmail.com) and Margaret D (mlduguay@yahoo.com) are once again co-chairs.  Let us know how you would like to get involved.

Please note that tickets are not available at the door so purchase online, see May newsletter for mail-in form or contact Martha or Margaret D. to make reservations.
The tea is a private event for members and their guests.  It is not advertised to the public.
